2010 Guidelines online on 18 October 2010
The European Resuscitation Council is making a substantial contribution to
the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) science review
process, which will culminate in the Consensus on CPR Science and Treatment
Recommendations (CoSTR) Conference on 2nd – 4th February 2010.
Members of the ILCOR Task Forces are participating in ‘webinars’ (telephone
conferencing combined with slide presentation via the internet) every 2-4
weeks so that reviews and discussion about most non-controversial topics
will be completed well before the conference in 2010.
The 2010 CoSTR document and the ERC 2010 Guidelines will be published
online on 18 October 2010. The 2010 CoSTR will be published in
Resuscitation and Circulation at this time and it is anticipated that the
ERC 2010 Guidelines will appear in print in the November 2010 issue of

The 2010 guidelines will be presented and discussed at Resuscitation 2010, the ERC
Congress in Porto, Portugal.
B. ERC Symposium
Registration
is closed
The registration for the 2009 Symposium in Cologne, Germany is now
closed. With 700 delegates we have reached the maximum capacity and
this means that there will be no online nor on-site registration.
